ACEOs for a Special Cause

I know many of my readers are avid collectors of ACEOs or ATCs. If you are wondering what I’m talking about, check out the links in the sidebar. Today is not about art education, it’s about a cause to help the marine wildlife suffering from the BP oil disaster. Illustrator Kelly Light created the blog Ripple only a short time ago, but it has already garnered the attention of illustrators from around the world. Even author, Neil Gaiman has tweeted about this incredible little project.

On the blog you will find art cards in a variety of mediums. They can be purchased by donating $10.00 to either The Institute for Marine Mammal Studies or The International Bird Rescue Research Center. There have already been over $1000.00 in donations!

Here are the ACEOs I’ve contributed for this worthy cause:

Spirit of the Gulf

A Friend in Need

Innocence

A Friend in Need and Innocence have already sold, but Spirit of the Gulf is waiting for your donation!

Each small act helps.

Together we can cause a ripple in the oil soaked waters of the gulf.
